Packing to go on a safari is different from the packing to go on other trips. Temperatures change throughout the day dramatically. In case your itinerary is inclusive of flights between different camps or parks, you can pack extra-light keeping with baggage restrictions.
Soft-sided duffel is a better bet in comparison to a rigid hard-shell suitcase. In case you are heading out on safari, spend some time in the city or at the beach. Check if your safari lodges or camp provides a laundry service. You can also recycle clothes by packing thin nylon rope and travel detergent bottle to serve as laundry makeshift line.
Dressing for Safari should be considered. The best clothes are the clothes that are lightweight and loose fitting, so that you dry quickly and stay cool, in case you are caught in some rain shower. Bring a good jacket or fleece to ward off the chill on morning drives.
There is a campfire at night to keep you warm. Yet wear long trousers and sleeves to safeguard from biting mosquitoes. Pick neutral tones when it is about colors over brighter shades so that it offers optimum camouflage while on safari.

If you wish to bring a positive difference, ask to bring supplies such as the medication, school supplies or clothing. Check and pack for a purpose and also keep the requests from lodges ready so that you do not waste time searching each and everything.
